Amanda Page-Hoongrajok received her Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, her M.A. from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL, and her B.A. from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. Her dissertation focused on state and local government finances over recessions and recoveries.

Her other recent work has touched on short-termism in financial markets and the Puerto Rican debt crisis. She is an Assistant Professor of Economics, teaching corporate finance in the Economics and Finance Department at Saint Peter's.
